We mentioned that, once chapter 2 is in beta, we planed to start developing chapter 3 while slowly finishing what was left on chapter 2.
We said that to keep advancing with the development of the story but, recently, we had some second thoughts, maybe would be better to fully finish chapter 2 with all the images and everything polished.
Because of this, we just opened a poll for 5$+ tiers to ask what would be better for this coming January and February (two months mostly because there are about 100 images left for side events): Fully finish and polish chapter 2 or start chapter 3 while keep working a little bit every month on chapter 2 until it’s finished?

In the second part of the game I’m confused by the fact that sometimes the images aren't created by Root exist here, in my opinion they somehow seem out of place, against the background of about 90% of the other images from Root. Do you plan to redraw these images?
ReplyDeleteWe thought it was a good idea to have different art styles, that it could be interesting, but since there was complain, we opened a poll asking about if we should stop to add more art styles and the option won so from that point we stopped. We don't plan to redo all those images because even that 10% could mean 2-3 months of work and it would mean 2-3 months without writing, images for new events or animations and I'm not sure if it could kill the project but the situation after it could be of weakness.
