Alpha 1.8.2 of chapter 2 for patrons / Alpha 1.7 of chapter 2 public release

New version! Last one completing areas and from here everything (almost, there is a couple of things here and there) points to the end of the chapter. Also this month, Berserk debuts as a writer for the game. He already wrote some non chained events but this month all events come from him.

On Monday we’ll publish a rough time line for what is left to reach beta and what are our plans for next couple of months.

Hope you’ll enjoy!

Please remember not to load saves from previous versions because it can cause bugs

Alpha 1.8.2 updates:
· Added the events for the wild people with more or less 23 events and 19 images. The area have two possible endings but the rewards of the endings are not implemented yet.
· Added a minigame with 3 stages to move forward with the area of the wild people.
· To complete the area you’ll also need to visit the blacksmith (3-4 events), and have the magic amulet to collect ingredients (questlog explain it step by step).
· Added Morrow (sponsored by Morrow) with 5 events and 2 images. There is one image left but the part of the game when it should appear it’s not yet in the game. Her chain of events begin the second time you go to the east of the island. Two of the events trigger only by walking there, then there is a clickable event in the path to the east (same place where their first events triggers). And then you’ll have to complete the first stage of the minigame to be able to see her two last events.
· Questlog updated.

Content sumary:
· 21 images.
· 32 events approx. (17000 words)

    1. Hi! The gallery is a reward for 10$+ patrons right now but we'll add a way to unlock one in future.

  6. Have gotten through most all of the Alpha 1.7 version. It seems like a lot of the various quests do not come to a conclusion. Some of the hints say that they are (under development) but more do not. Do all the quests that do not say they are (under dev)come to a conclusion, or are there more that should also be listed as incomplete (under dev) ?? Also, it seems that you have to spend an awful lot of time accumulating vast quantities of money and lust points to improve the tavern, train your allies, free the merfolk or octopus people, AND recruit volunteers for the army. Plus there isn't a way to increase your ability to get larger sums of money or lust power to meet all the costs you have to deal with....After a while, it gets to be a bit much. Overall, I appreciate the hard work and new features, but get a little frustrated trying to gather up all the money and lust points needed. No freezes or other glitches that I noticed. Kudos for that !!

    1. Thanks!

For the quests, the ones that are not "under dev", should show as complete when finished. I though it could be some without the warn but didn't know there were a lot of them, we'll check it.

For the money, the way to get a lot of it is with the tavern and what it is going to take a lot of money is the war and the even dance. For the lust power, if you play the game from the beginning it would be a point where you have a lot of extra of it. Also complete the under the sea area (without counting Scylla) and the tavern are optional.

Even so, we'll balance everything once in beta.

    2. Here's what I found:
Peace Guards Suck - Defeated the 3 sets of Peace Guards with "Special leaders" (Hurlbert, Adot (?), and Setek. Quest list only states that 2 are done.
Songs Undersea - completed everything I could find. Quests Done shows Helping Singers and Helping Song-Stealers completed, but Songs Undersea is not showing as complete.
Gathering Some Friends - Have all 6 Spirits and 6 Friends at level 4. Category is still under Current Quests.
Royal Affair - completed up to the recruiting troops. Have enough money, but can't "purchase" any troops, and there doesn't seem to be another way to recruit them (as the "hint" says).
...Monster Spirit - cannot find any more Scylla activities. There are no sailors in the fish cave (As hinted to, in the current quest section).
Pirate's Bet - has the Clara and Leela bet & 'keelhaul" sequence, but nothing else. Quest does not move to Quests Done section and no reference to quest being under development.
Helping the Elves - STILL have not found any way or sequence to help the male & female elves reconcile.
A Fresh New Start - Have found multiple members of "the church of Elana", but quest log does not indicate that I have (still white, not grayed-out as it should be)
Exploration - I cannot seem to find anymore places on the island to visit, but the quest log does not indicate that I have (still white, not grayed-out as it should be)

I'm not sure if I somehow might have missed something (but I don't think that I have), or if the quest log is just not set up correctly..... Hope this helps.

    3. Thanks for reporting it! The peace guards sucks, fresh new start and helping the elves should appear under development, but the others should appear as completed if I'm not wrong.

Since we are close to the beta version we'll wait to fix it there. Also, for this help and the other you gave us, feel free to ask for the beta earlier, if you want, once we announce it ^^

  9. Thank you for the great work. The game is - despite having a focus on serving a male audience - comparatively well balanced on addressing different orientations and fetishes. I like how the game tries to deal with the domination theme. In a strict reading I would still call many scenes part of maledom, however there are starting to be femdom scenes in it to balance it. Furthermore, in many cases the game is making statements against rape (kicking the asses of lusty soldiers at night, the mind controlling dude in the academy). Its still there - but it is dealt with in better way than in most other explicit games.Thumbs up for that. The whole game is talking about some kind of vision of sexual freedom - would you say that this coincides somehow with your own philosophies?

    1. Thanks! Glad you like our way to manage the story. About your question, we can't subscribe as our own philosophy sexuality as it's exactly shown in the game because it's a fictional world with fictional situations. After all our goal is to entertain and we are not trying to emulate reality. Said that we can agree that sexuality should be a happy thing and as long as everyone involved is happy (and of course mentally capable, with enough age and such obvious things), everyone should have enough freedom as wanted and capable to manage (you doesn't always choose your own feelings). We try to add this happy/desirable vibe in most events of the games because we think its enjoyable and we are glad that it could be seen as positive but our main purpose is tell a story so, even if we want to keep a general lighthearted mood that we can agree with, we don't necessarily always agree with what the characters could do following the story.

I'm afraid I rambled a little ^^u but think about this and write it down help us to put our ideas together and, maybe, lead to better work.

    2. You are just doing fine. I agree with your thoughts on the happy vibe. Keep it up!
